In short

How do I chase incomplete timesheets before the period closes?

WebRun checks Planview every Monday for timesheets still incomplete in the open reporting period. It works out who is missing hours and how many, posts the chase list to Telegram, and drafts a reminder email to each person, so utilization and project cost reports are not built on half the hours.

  • Utilization reports are built on complete hours, not half of them
  • Every person owing time gets a written reminder waiting in Drafts
  • People on approved leave are never chased by mistake

Built for PMO teams · project managers · professional services firms · resource managers

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.planview.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

    • Note the hours missing and the projects the entries should sit against
    • Skip anyone marked on leave for the period

WebRun opens Telegram to post the chase list.
    • Post the chase list to the PMO group with names and hours missing
    • Show the total unrecorded hours for the period
    • Call out the projects most affected so cost reporting risk is visible

Done when The PMO group has this week's timesheet chase list in Telegram.

  4. 3
    Gmail - draft each reminder
    gmail.com
WebRun in Gmail: draft each reminder

Done when A reminder draft sits in Gmail for each person owing time, none of them sent.

Questions, answered

Will it email people without me?

No. Every reminder is written and left unsent in Gmail Drafts. You read the list, decide who genuinely needs chasing, and send the emails yourself.

Does it fill in or submit timesheets?

No. WebRun reads the timesheet status and reports what is missing. Entering hours and submitting a timesheet stays with the person who did the work.

What about people on leave?

They are skipped. WebRun checks the period for approved leave before listing anyone, so nobody gets chased for hours they were never expected to book.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
