Automated Layaway Payment Reminder Drafts
Every morning, WebRun opens Artisan POS, finds layaway plans with a deposit or final balance due in the next 3 days, drafts a friendly reminder in Mailchimp for each customer, and posts a short chase list to Slack of who still owes a balance.
How do I remind customers about layaway balances that are coming due?
WebRun keeps layaway balances from slipping through the cracks. Each morning it checks Artisan POS for deposits and final payments due within 3 days, drafts a friendly reminder for each customer in Mailchimp, and posts a Slack chase list sorted by due date, so staff can review, send, and collect before pickup day arrives.
- Layaway customers get reminded before their balance is overdue
- Staff get a sorted chase list every morning, not a manual search
- No reminder goes out without a quick human review
Built for party supply stores · costume shops · retailers offering layaway

Questions, answered
Will it email customers without me seeing it first?
No. Every reminder is saved as a draft in Mailchimp. A staff member reviews and sends it, WebRun never sends a layaway reminder on its own.
What if a customer already paid off their balance?
It reads the live layaway status in Artisan POS each morning, so anyone who's already paid in full is left off the chase list.
Does it handle the final pickup, too?
It flags the balance and due date so staff know a pickup is coming, but confirming and completing the pickup is still done in Artisan POS by your team.
Put this on autopilot.
