In short

How do I automatically follow up with pain patients after injections or procedures?

WebRun checks DrChrono each morning for patients who had an injection or pain procedure seven to 14 days ago with no follow-up visit scheduled. It drafts a recall reminder for each and logs the queue in Google Sheets for staff to review and approve before any message reaches the patient.

  • Every post-procedure patient is identified within 24 hours of the 7-day recall window opening
  • Staff review a ready-to-send reminder queue in Google Sheets each morning
  • Patients with booked follow-ups are excluded automatically

Questions, answered

Will it send the reminder to patients without staff approval?

No. WebRun drafts the reminder and logs it in Google Sheets for staff to review and approve before anything is sent. Patient-facing messages with PHI are never dispatched automatically.

What procedure types does it track?

By default it scans for common pain procedure codes including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, and trigger-point injections. You can specify additional codes when you set up the run.

What if the patient already booked a follow-up?

WebRun checks live appointment data in DrChrono each run, so any patient who has already scheduled a follow-up is excluded automatically.
