Will it verify the domain for me?

No. WebRun only checks verification status and creates chase cards. Clicking the verification link in the contact email always stays a step a person completes.

Why does WHOIS verification matter so much?

ICANN rules require registrant email verification, and a domain left unverified for too long can get suspended, which is why it gets its own dedicated chase list instead of waiting for a routine renewal check.

Does it check every domain on the account?

Yes. It reviews every domain under the Name.com account each week, not just recently registered ones.
