Questions, answered
Can it shut down or resize instances to save money?
No. WebRun never creates, resizes, or deletes anything in your Linode account. It reads billing and reports the trend, and every change to running infrastructure stays a deliberate human action.
Will it email people about the budget on its own?
No. The warning is left as a Gmail draft for you to read and send. Nothing about your spend goes to anyone until a person approves the wording.
What if spend is normal that week?
No email is drafted at all. Airtable still gets its weekly row so the trend line stays complete, but WebRun only writes a warning when the projected month end figure passes your limit.
