Automated Leadpages Conversion Tracking

Every Monday, WebRun opens Leadpages, reads views, conversions, and conversion rate for every published landing page and pop-up, appends the week's figures to a Google Sheets tracker, and WhatsApps you the pages that fell the most against their own four-week average.

In short

How do I track landing page conversion rates week over week?

WebRun opens Leadpages every Monday and reads views, conversions, and conversion rate for every published page, pop-up, and alert bar. It appends the week's figures to a Google Sheets tracker, compares each page against its own four-week average, and WhatsApps you the three biggest drops.

  • A page that quietly stopped converting is named the Monday after it happens
  • Every page is judged against its own history, not against your best one
  • The rate trend per page builds itself in a sheet with no manual export

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens app.leadpages.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

    • Include pop-ups and alert bars that collect leads
    • Note any page published or edited during the week, since a change explains a swing
    • Record which pages had no traffic at all

Done when Every published page has views, conversions, and a rate for the week.

Google Sheets - log the weekly rates
    google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: log the weekly rates

    • Open your landing page tracker and append a dated block of rows
    • Write one row per page with views, conversions, and conversion rate
    • Calculate each page's four-week average rate and the change against it
    • Mark rows where the page was edited that week so swings are explainable
    • Keep the sheet sorted so the trend per page reads top to bottom

Done when The sheet holds this week's rates and the change against each page's average.

  4. 3
WhatsApp - flag the pages that dropped
    whatsapp.com
WebRun in WhatsApp: flag the pages that dropped
WebRun opens WhatsApp to flag the pages that dropped.
    • Send the three pages whose conversion rate fell furthest against their average
    • Include views, conversions, the current rate, and the size of the drop
    • Add one line naming the best performing page of the week
    • Note when a flagged page was edited, so the likely cause is obvious
    • Link the tracker sheet for the full picture

Done when You have this week's biggest drops and the top performer on your phone.

Questions, answered

Can it edit or unpublish a page that is converting badly?

No. WebRun reads the analytics only. It never edits a page, changes a headline, swaps a form, or unpublishes anything. Every change to a live page stays yours.

How does it decide a page dropped?

It compares the week's conversion rate with that page's own four-week average, so a page is judged against itself rather than against your best performer. The threshold is yours to set.

What about pages with almost no traffic?

Pages under your minimum view count are logged in the sheet but kept out of the WhatsApp flags, so a page with nine views does not look like a crisis.

Put this on autopilot.
