Automated Kahoot Session Report Filing

Every evening, WebRun opens Kahoot, finds the sessions played that day, downloads each report, files it in the right Google Drive folder by class and date, and logs the participation, average score, and hardest questions in Airtable.

In short

How do I save and track my Kahoot session results?

WebRun collects your Kahoot session reports every evening. It downloads the export for each kahoot played that day, files it in the right Google Drive class folder, and logs the player count, average accuracy, and the three weakest questions in Airtable, so learning gaps stay visible across the term.

  • Every session report is filed the same evening it is played
  • Weak questions are tracked across the term, not lost per session
  • Nothing is shared outside your own Drive folder

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens kahoot.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Kahoot! - collect the day's session reports
    kahoot.com
WebRun in Kahoot: collect the day's session reports
WebRun opens Kahoot to collect the day's session reports.
    • Open Kahoot and go to your reports view
    • List the sessions hosted today with the kahoot name, host, date, and number of players
    • Open each report and read the overall accuracy and the questions with the lowest correct rate
    • Download the report export for each session
    • Skip sessions already filed on an earlier run

Done when Every session played today has its report downloaded and its headline numbers captured.

  3. 2
Google Drive - file each export
    drive.google.com
WebRun in Google Drive: file each export
WebRun opens Google Drive to file each export.
    • Open the shared teaching folder in Google Drive
    • Create or reuse a subfolder for the class and term
    • Upload each report using a consistent name with the kahoot title and the session date
    • Leave folder sharing exactly as it is so nothing becomes visible to a wider audience

Done when Every report sits in the right class folder under a consistent filename.

  4. 3
Airtable - log scores and weak questions
    airtable.com
WebRun in Airtable: log scores and weak questions
WebRun opens Airtable to log scores and weak questions.
    • Open the learning records base in Airtable
    • Add one row per session with the date, kahoot name, host, player count, and average accuracy
    • Record the three questions with the lowest correct rate so weak topics are visible over time
    • Link the row to the Drive file so anyone can open the full report

Done when Airtable holds one row per session with its scores, weak questions, and a link to the filed report.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it share results with students or parents?

No. WebRun files reports inside your own Google Drive folder and logs numbers in Airtable. It never emails anyone, never posts publicly, and never changes who can see a folder.

Will it edit or delete my kahoots?

No. WebRun only reads the reports view and downloads the exports. Your kahoots, questions, and past sessions are left untouched.

What stops the same session being filed twice?

Each run checks the Airtable records first and skips any session already logged, so a report is only ever filed and recorded once.

Put this on autopilot.
