Automated Indeed Sponsored Spend Reporting

Every morning, WebRun signs in to Indeed, opens each sponsored job posting, reads yesterday's spend, views, and applications, works out cost per application for every posting, posts the table to Microsoft Teams, and pings you on Telegram about any listing that burned budget without producing a candidate.

In short

How do I see which sponsored job posts are wasting budget?

WebRun checks your Indeed sponsored spend every morning. It reads yesterday's spend, views and applications for each posting, works out cost per application, posts the table to Microsoft Teams, and pings you on Telegram when a listing burns budget without producing a single candidate.

  • A dead listing gets rewritten or paused in days, not weeks
  • Every posting carries a cost per application every morning
  • Bad copy and bad reach are separated instead of guessed at

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens indeed.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Indeed - read spend against applications
    indeed.com
WebRun in Indeed: read spend against applications
WebRun opens Indeed to read spend against applications.
    • Sign in to Indeed and open each sponsored job posting
    • Read yesterday's spend, job views, and applications for each
    • Work out cost per application, and mark postings with spend and zero applications
    • Note the daily budget left on each posting

Done when Every sponsored posting has yesterday's spend, views, applications, and cost per application.

  3. 2
Microsoft Teams - post the cost table
    microsoft.com
WebRun in Microsoft Teams: post the cost table
WebRun opens Microsoft Teams to post the cost table.
    • Post the table to the recruiting channel: one row per posting
    • Sort the worst cost per application to the top
    • Show the running spend for the week next to each posting
    • Flag postings with plenty of views but no applications separately from those with no views at all

Done when The recruiting channel has yesterday's spend table.

  4. 3
Telegram - ping about dead listings
    telegram.org
WebRun in Telegram: ping about dead listings
WebRun opens Telegram to ping about dead listings.
    • Ping the recruiter when a posting has spent for three days with no applications
    • Name the job title, the spend so far, and the view count
    • Suggest whether the problem looks like the ad copy or the reach
    • Never pause a campaign or change a budget: WebRun reports and the recruiter decides

Done when The recruiter knows which listings are burning budget for nothing.

Questions, answered

Will it pause a job posting or change my budget?

No. WebRun reads the numbers and reports them. Pausing a sponsored posting, editing the copy, or changing a daily budget stays with the recruiter who owns the role.

How does it tell a bad ad from a bad audience?

It separates the two. Postings with plenty of views and no applications point at the ad copy. Postings with almost no views point at reach, and the table flags each group differently.

Does it contact candidates?

No. This run reads spend and performance only. It never messages an applicant, and it never opens or replies to a candidate application.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
