Automated H&R Block Document Chasing
Every morning, WebRun opens H&R Block, finds the returns still waiting on client documents, works out how close each filing deadline is, posts a ranked chase list with a drafted nudge to Slack, and sends you a short Telegram summary of who to call first.
How do I chase clients for the tax documents they still owe?
Every morning WebRun opens H&R Block, checks which clients still have not uploaded the documents their return needs, and ranks them by filing deadline. It posts the chase list to Slack with a drafted nudge per client, then sends a Telegram summary, so no return stalls waiting on a missing form.
- No return sits blocked on a document nobody asked for
- Chases go out deadline-first instead of alphabetically
- Documents that arrive overnight drop off the list automatically
Built for tax preparers · accounting firms · bookkeepers · small tax practices

Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it contact my clients on its own?
No. WebRun drafts the nudge text and posts it internally to Slack for a preparer to send. It never emails, texts, or messages a client directly.
How does it decide who to chase first?
It ranks by filing deadline, so the return with the least time left sits at the top. Returns inside seven days are called out separately in Telegram.
What if a client uploaded overnight?
It reads the live document status in H&R Block on every run, so anything that arrived since yesterday drops off the chase list automatically.
Put this on autopilot.
Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
