Will it edit DNS records or restore an old value?
No. WebRun only reads your domains and reports what changed. Every DNS edit, nameserver change, and renewal stays a decision you make in Hover yourself.
What does it compare this week against?
The snapshot it posted to your Teams channel the previous Monday. The first run has nothing to compare with, so it simply records the baseline, and drift reporting starts the following week.
Does it catch a domain about to expire?
Yes. Alongside the record drift it reports any domain expiring within 60 days and flags the ones with auto-renew switched off, so a lapse is not the way you find out.
