Automated Gupshup Usage and Spend Digest

Every morning, WebRun opens the Gupshup console, reads yesterday's message volume by channel along with your remaining balance, drafts a Gmail summary for finance comparing spend against your daily budget, and books a Google Calendar top-up reminder when the balance will not last the week.

In short

How do I track my Gupshup messaging usage and balance each day?

WebRun reads your Gupshup console every morning, capturing yesterday's message volume by channel, your spend, and your remaining balance. It drafts a Gmail summary for finance with the days of runway left at your current burn rate and books a Google Calendar top-up reminder before the balance runs out.

  • Spend is checked daily instead of discovered on the invoice
  • A top-up reminder lands three days before the balance runs out
  • Volume by channel makes an unexpected spike obvious the next morning

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens console.gupshup.io in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1

    • Draft a short daily summary email to finance in Gmail
    • Show yesterday's volume by channel, the spend, and the balance remaining
    • Say how many days of runway the balance gives at the current burn rate
    • Leave the email as an unsent draft. WebRun never tops up an account or spends money

Done when A finance summary draft is waiting in Gmail for review.

Questions, answered

Will it top up my Gupshup balance?

No. WebRun never adds credit, changes a plan, or spends money. It reports the balance and the runway, and books a reminder so a person tops up in time.

Does it send the finance email on its own?

No. The daily summary is left as an unsent Gmail draft. Finance sees it only after you review and send it, so no numbers go out unchecked.

Does it send any messages through Gupshup?

No. It reads usage and billing data only. It never sends a message, changes a template, or edits an app configuration in the Gupshup console.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
