Automated Grooming Package Renewals
Every Monday, WebRun opens Gingr, finds clients with grooming packages that have one or two sessions remaining, checks Stripe for the payment method on file, drafts a renewal message for each, and posts a Slack alert to your team so they can follow up and process the renewal before the package runs out.
How do I automatically track and renew grooming package clients?
Every Monday, WebRun opens Gingr to find clients with grooming packages nearing depletion, checks Stripe for a payment method on file, and posts a Slack alert with draft renewal messages for each client. Your team reviews and sends each renewal: no card is charged and no message goes out without a human approving it.
- Clients with depleted packages get a renewal prompt before they have to ask
- Revenue from package renewals stays on track without manual tracking
- No card is charged and no message is sent without staff approval

Questions, answered
Will it automatically charge the client's card to renew the package?
No. WebRun never charges a card automatically. It checks Stripe to confirm a payment method is on file and alerts your team, but all renewals and charges are processed manually by your staff.
How does it know when a package is nearly used up?
It reads the sessions remaining and expiry date fields in Gingr. By default it flags packages with one or two sessions left or expiring within 30 days. You can adjust the threshold.
What if a client has no payment method on file?
WebRun flags those clients separately in the Slack alert so your team knows to contact them for updated billing details before the package runs out.
