Automated Google One Renewal Checks
Every Monday, WebRun opens Google One, reads your subscription plan, its renewal date and price, the payment method on file, and who shares the plan, sets that against how much storage you are actually using, posts the picture to Microsoft Teams, and queues a Twilio text as the renewal date approaches.
How do I know what my Google One plan will cost before it renews?
Every Monday WebRun opens Google One, reads your plan, its renewal date and price, the payment method on file, and who shares it, then sets that against the storage you actually use. It posts the picture to Microsoft Teams and queues a Twilio text as renewal approaches, so a tier change happens before the charge.
- The renewal date and price are visible every Monday
- Storage actually used sits next to the tier you pay for
- No plan is changed and nothing is paid on your behalf
Built for small business owners · office managers · families · operations teams
What does WebRun do on every run?
The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.
-
WebRun signs in and gets to work
Opens
one.google.comin a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys. -
1
Google One - read plan, price, and usage
WebRun opens Google One to read plan, price, and usage. - Open Google One and read the current subscription plan and storage tier
- Note the renewal date and the amount due at renewal
- Check which payment method is on file and whether it is close to expiring
- List the people the plan is shared with
- Read how much of the storage allowance is actually in use
- Change nothing. WebRun never upgrades, downgrades, cancels, or pays for a plan
Done when The plan, renewal date, price, payment method, members, and usage are all captured.
-
2
Microsoft Teams - post the renewal picture
WebRun opens Microsoft Teams to post the renewal picture. - Post the renewal date, the amount, and the days remaining
- Show storage used against the allowance so the tier can be judged
- List the plan members so an unused share is visible
- Flag a payment method expiring before the renewal date
Done when The renewal picture is posted with usage and members beside the price.
-
3
Twilio - queue a text before renewal
WebRun opens Twilio to queue a text before renewal. - Prepare a short text to the plan owner once the renewal is inside your notice window
- Include the date, the amount, and the current storage used
- Leave the message queued in Twilio for a human to approve and send
- Queue nothing in weeks where the renewal is still far off
Done when A renewal text is queued for approval, or the renewal is still outside the window.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it change my plan or pay anything?
No. WebRun reads the subscription page and reports it. Upgrading, downgrading, cancelling, changing the card, or paying anything stays with you, and the Twilio text is only queued for a human to send.
Does it show the card details?
No. It reports only which payment method is on file in the form Google One already shows, and flags one that expires before the renewal date. No full card number is ever copied anywhere.
How much notice do I get before renewal?
The weekly Teams post shows the days remaining every Monday, and a text is queued once the renewal falls inside the notice window you set, so a tier change is a decision rather than a reaction.
