In short

How do I see grades across all my Google Classroom classes in one place?

Every Monday WebRun opens Google Classroom, reads the grade book for each class you oversee, and works out the class average, the spread and which students are trending down. It writes the roll-up into Notion and posts the class by class picture to your staff channel in Slack.

  • Support is offered before a term report makes the slide obvious
  • Every class average sits in one weekly staff post
  • A term-long trend builds in Notion with nobody rebuilding a spreadsheet

Built for heads of year · school leadership · teachers · course coordinators

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens classroom.google.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Google Classroom - read each class grade book
    classroom.google.com
WebRun in Google Classroom: read each class grade book
WebRun opens Google Classroom to read each class grade book.
    • Open Google Classroom and go through each class on your list
    • Read the grade book: the assignments graded so far, their topics, and each student's marks
    • Work out the class average, the spread, and how many pieces of work are still ungraded
    • Read only. Never enter, change or return a grade, and never post to a class stream

Done when Every class you oversee has its grades read and its average calculated.

  3. 2
Notion - build the weekly roll-up
    notion.so
WebRun in Notion: build the weekly roll-up
WebRun opens Notion to build the weekly roll-up.
    • Update the roll-up page with one row per class: average, spread, assignments graded and assignments outstanding
    • Add a second table of students whose average fell against the previous weeks
    • Keep every past week so a term-long trend builds without anyone rebuilding it
    • Keep the page restricted to the staff who already have access to these grades

Done when Notion holds this week's class table and the list of students trending down.

  4. 3
Slack - post the class by class picture
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: post the class by class picture
WebRun opens Slack to post the class by class picture.
    • Post the week's picture to your staff channel
    • Lead with the classes that moved most, up or down, then the students to check in on
    • Note how much work is still waiting to be graded in each class
    • Keep the post to staff. WebRun never messages a student or a guardian

Done when Staff have this week's class averages and the students worth supporting.

Questions, answered

Will it contact students or parents?

No. WebRun never messages a student or a guardian and never posts to a class stream. The roll-up goes only to the staff channel and the staff Notion page.

Can it change a grade?

No. It reads the grade book and never enters, edits or returns a mark. Grading stays entirely with the teacher who owns the class.

How does it decide who is trending down?

It compares each student's current average with the previous weeks stored in Notion, so a real slide over several weeks is separated from one bad piece of work.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
