Automated CFO Cash Flow Data Entry From Client Emails

When a client emails cash balance updates, payroll figures, or bank statement summaries, WebRun reads the key figures from the email, logs them into your Google Sheet cash flow tracker, updates the actual figures in the relevant Fathom forecast model, and posts a confirmation to Slack so your team knows the data is in.

In short

How can I automatically extract cash flow actuals from client emails and update my Fathom forecast?

When a client emails cash balance updates or bank statement summaries, WebRun reads the key figures, logs the actuals in your Google Sheet cash flow tracker, updates the Fathom forecast model with the new data, and posts a Slack confirmation with the closing balance and variance. Manual data entry from client emails is eliminated.

  • Cash actuals from client emails are in the tracker and Fathom forecast within minutes
  • Manual copy-paste data entry from client emails is eliminated entirely
  • Forecast variance is visible in Slack the moment actuals arrive

Good to know

Questions, answered

How does it know which emails to process?

It monitors a specific Gmail label or folder you designate for client cash updates. Only emails in that label are processed, so unrelated client emails are not touched.

Will it make changes in Fathom without my review?

It updates the actuals in the Fathom forecast model, but the CFO receives a Slack confirmation with the variance so they can review and adjust the forecast narrative before the next client report.

What if the email format varies between clients?

You configure a simple extraction template for each client during setup, defining which figures to capture and where they appear. WebRun applies each client's template on every run.

Put this on autopilot.
