Automated FIS Batch Processing Status Digest
Every morning, WebRun opens the FIS operations portal, records which overnight batch jobs completed, are delayed, or failed, posts the full status digest to Slack, and sends a separate Telegram alert naming the affected system for any failed batch.
How do I monitor overnight FIS batch processing status?
WebRun checks the FIS operations portal every morning, records which overnight batch jobs completed, are delayed, or failed, and posts the full status to Slack. Any failed batch also gets a separate Telegram alert naming the affected system, so the on-call team can start troubleshooting the moment they see it.
- Failed batches are escalated the same morning, not discovered midday
- Ops opens Slack to a ready status digest instead of the portal
- The affected system is named in every failure alert

Questions, answered
What counts as a delayed batch?
Any job still running past its normal completion window. It gets called out separately from failed jobs so ops can tell the two apart at a glance.
Will WebRun rerun a batch or process a payment on its own?
No. WebRun only reads batch status and reports on it. It never reruns a job, processes a payment, or moves money. Any fix is left for your operations team to trigger.
Why do failed batches get a separate Telegram message?
So they do not get lost inside a longer Slack digest. A failed batch goes straight to Telegram with the affected system named, separate from routine status.
