Automated Music Licence Coverage Checks

Every Monday, WebRun signs in to Epidemic Sound, reads which of your channels are connected to the subscription, compares that against the list of channels your team actually publishes to, posts the uncovered ones to Microsoft Teams, and texts you through Twilio when a channel is publishing without cover.

In short

How do I check every channel I publish to is covered by my music subscription?

WebRun signs in to Epidemic Sound every Monday and reads which of your channels are connected to the subscription, comparing that against the channels your team actually publishes to. It posts the uncovered ones to Microsoft Teams and texts you via Twilio, so an upload never runs without cover.

  • An unconnected channel is found before an upload picks up a claim
  • Every uncovered channel arrives with an owner attached
  • Connections that quietly dropped are caught the following Monday

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

  4. 3
Twilio - text you when a channel is uncovered

    • Give the channel name, its owner, and how long it has been uncovered
    • Send to your own team numbers only. WebRun never texts anyone outside the list you set

Done when You have been texted about any regularly publishing channel that is missing cover.

Questions, answered

Will it connect a channel or change my subscription?

No. WebRun reads what is connected and reports the gaps. Connecting a channel or changing a plan stays with you, so nothing is added to the subscription on its own.

Why does an uncovered channel matter?

Because music used on a channel outside your subscription can pick up a copyright claim, and a claimed upload can lose its revenue. Finding the gap first avoids that.

Does it text people outside my team?

No. Twilio messages go only to the numbers you configure, which are your own team's. No creator, client, or third party is ever contacted by this workflow.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
