Automated Domainfactory Mailbox Quota Alerts

Every morning, WebRun opens the Domainfactory control panel, reads mailbox usage and disk usage across every hosting package, posts a digest to Slack summarizing usage for the whole account, and sends an immediate Telegram alert if any mailbox crosses 90 percent of its quota, since a full mailbox stops mail from arriving.

In short

How do I avoid a Domainfactory mailbox filling up and blocking mail?

Every morning, WebRun checks mailbox and disk usage across every Domainfactory hosting package and posts a digest to Slack. If any mailbox crosses 90 percent of its quota, it also sends an immediate Telegram alert naming the address, since a full mailbox stops new mail from arriving until someone clears space.

  • A mailbox quota warning arrives before mail actually starts bouncing
  • Disk usage across every package is visible in one daily digest
  • The Telegram alert only fires when a mailbox is genuinely close to full

Questions, answered

Does it delete emails or empty a mailbox to free space?

No. WebRun only reads usage and reports it. Deleting email or freeing space always stays something a person does.

Why does a full mailbox matter so much?

Once a mailbox hits its quota, new incoming mail typically bounces instead of arriving, which is why it gets a separate, immediate Telegram alert rather than waiting for the daily digest.

Does it check every mailbox on every package?

Yes. Every mailbox across every hosting package on the account is checked each run, so nothing gets missed because it was set up a while ago.

Put this on autopilot.
