Automated Opendock Late Carrier Arrival Alerts
Every few minutes, WebRun checks Opendock for appointments whose scheduled arrival window has passed without a carrier check-in, and fires a Telegram alert to your dock team listing the carrier, door, and minutes overdue so they can reassign the slot before it causes a bottleneck.
How do I get real-time alerts when a carrier is late to a dock appointment?
WebRun checks Opendock every few minutes during operating hours and identifies any carrier that has not checked in within your configured grace period. It immediately sends a Telegram alert to your dock ops team with the carrier name, door number, and minutes overdue so they can reassign the slot before the delay cascades.
- Late carriers are flagged within minutes, not discovered at the door
- Dock teams can reassign slots before a single late arrival creates a queue
- No carrier-facing messages sent without human approval
Built for dock supervisors · warehouse managers · inbound logistics teams · distribution center leads

Questions, answered
How long after the scheduled time does it fire the alert?
You set the grace period when you configure the workflow. The default is 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment start before an alert is sent.
Will it alert for the same late carrier multiple times?
No. Each carrier triggers one alert per appointment. It will not re-fire until the next check cycle picks up a new overdue appointment.
Will it contact the carrier directly about being late?
No. WebRun only sends an internal Telegram alert to your dock team. Any outbound message to the carrier is drafted for a human to review and send.
