Automated Discover Payment Due Reminders

Every Monday, WebRun signs in to your Discover account portal, reads the current statement balance, the minimum payment and the payment due date, records them in an Airtable statement log alongside the previous cycle, and puts a private reminder on your Google Calendar several days before the due date.

In short

How do I get reminded before my Discover payment is due?

WebRun signs in to your Discover portal each Monday and reads the statement balance, the minimum payment, and the due date. It logs the cycle in Airtable next to the previous one and puts a private Google Calendar reminder ahead of the deadline. It never makes a payment itself.

  • Due dates land on the calendar days before the deadline
  • A year of statement cycles builds up as one clean history
  • No payment is ever made without you doing it yourself

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens portal.discover.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Discover - read the statement and due date
    discover.com
WebRun in Discover: read the statement and due date
WebRun opens Discover to read the statement and due date.
    • Sign in to your Discover account portal and open the account summary
    • Read the current balance, the statement balance, the minimum payment, and the payment due date
    • Note whether a payment has already been scheduled or posted this cycle
    • Capture available credit so a tight month is visible early

Done when This cycle's balance, minimum payment, and due date are captured.

  3. 2
    Airtable - log the cycle
    airtable.com
WebRun in Airtable: log the cycle
WebRun opens Airtable to log the cycle.
    • Open your card tracking base and add or update the row for this statement cycle
    • Record the statement balance, minimum payment, due date, available credit, and payment status
    • Compare with the previous cycle and note whether the balance rose or fell
    • Keep one row per cycle so a year of statements reads as a clean history

Done when Airtable holds this cycle's figures next to the previous one.

  4. 3
Google Calendar - diarise the due date
    calendar.google.com
WebRun in Google Calendar: diarise the due date
WebRun opens Google Calendar to diarise the due date.
    • Create a private reminder on your own calendar several days before the payment due date
    • Title it with the amount due and the actual due date
    • Leave the event with no guests so nothing is sent to anyone else
    • Remove or update the reminder once the portal shows the payment as posted

Done when The due date has a dated reminder on your own calendar.

Questions, answered

Will it pay the bill for me?

No. WebRun never makes a payment, schedules a transfer, or moves money of any kind. It reads the statement, logs it, and reminds you. Paying the card stays entirely your decision and your action.

Does it handle my card number or credentials?

No. WebRun reads only what the account summary page displays, such as the balance and the due date. It never types, copies, or stores a full card number or a password.

What if I already paid this cycle?

It reads the live payment status in the portal each run. If the payment has posted, it marks the Airtable row paid and clears the calendar reminder so you are not nudged twice.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
