In short

How do I make sure new Dialpad voicemails get handed off?

WebRun checks Dialpad every hour for new voicemails, reads the transcript to work out who it belongs to, opens a Trello card with the transcript and caller number, and notifies the assigned rep in Microsoft Teams, so no voicemail waits for someone to happen to check the inbox.

  • Voicemails are transcribed and assigned within the hour
  • Reps get a Teams ping instead of checking a voicemail inbox
  • Unassigned voicemails stay visible until someone claims them

Good to know

Questions, answered

Does WebRun call the person back?

No. It only transcribes the voicemail that already arrived and hands it off internally. Any callback is placed by the rep.

How does it know which rep a voicemail is for?

From the line or extension the voicemail came in on in Dialpad, matched against the rep assigned to that line.

What if a voicemail is for a line with no assigned rep?

The Trello card is still created and tagged unassigned, so it is visible in the follow up list until a manager assigns it.

Put this on autopilot.
