Automated Culture Amp Action Plan Tracking
Every Monday, WebRun opens Culture Amp, reads each team's action plan with its owner, due dates, and progress, updates an Airtable tracker so movement is visible week over week, and drafts a short Gmail nudge to managers whose plans have not moved, leaving every message unsent for HR to approve.
How do I make sure engagement survey action plans get followed through?
WebRun keeps your Culture Amp action plans honest every Monday. It reads each plan's owner, open actions, and time since the last update, tracks the movement in Airtable, and drafts a supportive Gmail nudge to managers whose plans have stalled, leaving every message unsent for HR to approve.
- Plans that stopped moving surface after two quiet weeks, not two quiet quarters
- Managers get a specific nudge naming their open actions
- Every message is read by HR before it is sent
Built for HR business partners · people operations · engagement leads · heads of talent

1
Culture Amp - read action plan progress
WebRun opens Culture Amp to read action plan progress. - Open Culture Amp and go to the action plans created from your recent surveys
- For each plan capture the owning manager, the team, the actions listed, and their status
- Note the due date on each action and how long the plan has gone without an update
- Separate plans with no actions added at all from plans with actions that have stalled
Done when Every action plan has an owner, a status, and a days since update figure.
-
2
Airtable - track movement week over week
WebRun opens Airtable to track movement week over week. - Open the action plan tracker base in Airtable
- Update each plan row with actions complete, actions open, and days since the last update
- Add rows for plans created since the last run
- Mark plans that have not moved for two consecutive weeks as at risk
Done when The tracker shows current progress and at risk status for every plan.
-
3
Gmail - draft a nudge to the owner
WebRun opens Gmail to draft a nudge to the owner. - Draft a short, supportive Gmail message to each manager owning an at risk plan
- Name the plan, the actions still open, and the date the plan was last updated
- Leave every message in Drafts for HR to read and send. Send nothing automatically
- Skip managers who were nudged within the last fortnight
Done when A draft is waiting for every at risk plan owner, and nothing has been sent.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it email managers without HR seeing it first?
No. Every nudge is left in Gmail Drafts for HR to read, edit, and send. WebRun never emails a manager on its own, so tone and timing stay under human control.
Does it read individual survey responses?
No. It reads action plans, their owners, statuses, and dates. Individual responses and free-text comments are never opened, copied, or written into Airtable, so respondent confidentiality holds.
Can it change or complete an action plan?
No. WebRun never edits a plan, ticks off an action, changes a due date, or creates a new plan in Culture Amp. It reports progress and prepares a nudge for a person to send.
