MeridianLink Automated Loan Document Collection Chaser
Every morning, WebRun opens MeridianLink, identifies loan applications that still have outstanding document requirements, checks DocuSign for envelopes awaiting signature, drafts follow-up messages for each applicant, and posts your lending team a Slack summary of every stalled application.
How can a credit union automatically track and chase missing loan application documents?
WebRun opens MeridianLink every morning to find loan applications stalled on missing documents, checks DocuSign for unsigned envelopes tied to those applications, and posts the lending team a Slack list ranked by days waiting. Follow-up messages are drafted but held for staff review before any applicant is contacted.
- No stalled application sits unnoticed for more than one business day
- Lending staff start each day with a ranked list of who to call first
- DocuSign follow-ups are drafted and ready to send in seconds
Built for credit union loan officers · mortgage lending teams · member-facing lending staff

Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it contact applicants directly to request documents?
No. WebRun drafts the follow-up messages but does not send them. A lending officer reviews and sends each one, keeping the member relationship personal and controlled.
How does it know which documents are still missing?
It reads the pending document checklist in MeridianLink for each application and cross-references DocuSign for any envelopes not yet returned, giving a complete picture of what is outstanding.
Will applications that are already complete still appear on the list?
No. WebRun reads live status from MeridianLink on each run, so any application where all documents have been received is automatically excluded from the daily list.
