How to Automate Boulevard

In a Boulevard medspa, pre-built campaigns, auto-renewing memberships and Beau, the AI Receptionist, take care of clients. The rest sits outside it: the Allē dashboard, which Boulevard does not connect to, and automated report exports, which need the Enterprise tier's API. An agent like WebRun covers both from a browser.

Boulevard holds the calendar, charts and memberships of a medspa

Boulevard, written BLVD in its own web address, runs the bookings, payments and client records of salons, spas, barbershops and medspas, the kind of business where the booking and the checkout are meant to feel as considered as the treatment.

In a medspa it holds nearly everything. Patients book online or through the Book Now buttons on Instagram and Facebook, and their consent forms and waivers are attached to their profiles. Injectors chart in Boulevard's HIPAA-compliant forms, marking injection sites and treatment points on photos, and send the chart to the medical director for sign-off. Memberships renew monthly or yearly on their own, and payment goes through the Boulevard Duo, whose top slides off so a patient can pay away from the front desk.

A high-end salon uses the same system without the charts, for colour, cuts, memberships and retail, and a group with several locations reads its reports from the same Boulevard dashboard.

Boulevard's co-founder and CTO, Sean Stavropoulos, walks through what a subscription includes: online booking, client messaging, payments, marketing, memberships, reporting and the AI tools. Video: Everything That's Included in a Boulevard Subscription, from joinblvd on YouTube, 4 min.

A medspa checkout runs across Boulevard and the Allē dashboard

Patients who belong to Allē, Allergan Aesthetics' loyalty programme, or to Galderma's ASPIRE expect points for a toxin or filler treatment, depending on whose product was used, so for them checkout does not end in Boulevard. Allē gives the practice its own dashboard, reached through Allergan's Advantage site, where the front desk registers the patient and redeems points or a promotion in a second tab while the patient waits.

On a busy injectables day the desk misses some of it. A new patient leaves unregistered, or a promotion the patient saw on their phone never comes off the bill, and it comes up weeks later as an awkward call. Patients also ask at the desk how many points they have, and the answer is in the other tab.

Mondays bring a second job for the owner: downloading the same few Boulevard reports as CSV files and pasting them into the group's own spreadsheet, so last week sits beside the weeks before it.

Allē checked against the day's treatments Every toxin and filler appointment checked out in Boulevard compared with the Allē dashboard the same evening, with any unregistered patient or missed promotion named.
Promotions flagged before the patient arrives Next week's Boulevard appointments set against the promotions live in Allē, so the desk knows who can use one at checkout.
A weekly report pack for every location The same Boulevard reports taken from each location's dashboard and laid out in the owner's sheet, with no Enterprise API needed.

Boulevard's open API is kept for the Enterprise tier

Boulevard's five pre-built marketing campaigns, Fill Slow Days and Rescue Lost Clients among them, text and email the clients most likely to book without anyone pressing send. Memberships renew on their own, and when a renewal is declined Boulevard tries the card up to four times over five days and alerts both the business and the client. Beau, the AI Receptionist, answers the business's number around the clock, texts a booking link to a caller who is ready, and passes anything else to staff with a summary.

QuickBooks Online receives each day's sales and settlement data, and Shopify syncs products and gift cards with Boulevard's point of sale. On the Premier, Prestige and Enterprise tiers, a Zapier app sends Boulevard's appointment and client events to other tools without code.

Past that, the route is Boulevard's open APIs, which are for the Enterprise tier only. Boulevard's reports help article describes downloading a report or emailing it as a CSV file, one report at a time, and the Zapier app has no report trigger at all. Allē is not among the integrations Boulevard lists, so its dashboard stays a separate login at the desk.

The day's toxin and filler visits line up against the Allē dashboard

One email to the front desk manager after close could match the day's toxin and filler checkouts in Boulevard against the Allē dashboard, patient by patient, and name each mismatch: the patient never registered in Allē, the visit with no points, the promotion that should have come off the bill.

The owner could have last week's figures from each location's Boulevard reports in the group's spreadsheet every Monday, in the same columns and the same order, the job Boulevard's open APIs do for a business on the Enterprise tier.

Next week's patients who qualify for an Allē promotion that is live now could be flagged in that evening email, so the desk takes the offer off at checkout. Before a Boulevard campaign mentions a manufacturer offer, its end date in Allē goes next to the draft, and no text promises an offer that ended on Friday.

A permission group keeps the agent's Boulevard login away from charts

Boulevard assigns every staff member a permission group, and the owner can build one that sees appointments and checkout records but not forms, charts or clinical details. WebRun is an AI agent that works a real Chrome browser, signed in as you. Through a login in that group, it keeps Boulevard's checkout screen and the Allē dashboard open together for the evening check, and opens each location's reports page on Monday.

In Allē it registers no patient and redeems no points or promotions, so a patient's balance changes only when the front desk acts at checkout.

For the rest of the practice, this page has medspa review requests, no-show follow-ups, membership renewals and birthday offers, each drafted for the team to approve, and salon reports on no-shows and chair utilization.

Boulevard Manage Business settings, Permission groups page for a sample salon: Admin with 15 staff members, and Front Desk/Receptionist, Location Manager and Service Provider with none assigned. An open Edit group menu offers Duplicate group and Delete group, and a New permission group button sits top right.
Boulevard keeps permission groups under Manage Business; this sample salon has four, and the New permission group button adds a custom one. Screenshot: Granular permission groups on support.boulevard.io, captured 12 October 2026.

Questions people ask

Does Boulevard connect to Allē or ASPIRE?

Not through any integration Boulevard lists today. Allergan gives practices an Allē dashboard, reached through its Advantage site, for registering patients and redeeming points and promotions at checkout, and Galderma runs ASPIRE on its own sites, so both stay outside Boulevard.

Can reports be pulled automatically below the Enterprise tier?

Yes, by reading them. Boulevard's open APIs are for the Enterprise tier, and its Zapier app, on Premier and Prestige, passes appointments, clients and orders rather than reports. Every tier can see its reports on the dashboard, and that is where the agent copies the weekly figures from.

Can we keep it out of charts and clinical notes?

Yes. Boulevard's permission groups control who sees forms, charts and clinical details, so the agent's login can be limited to appointments and checkout records. None of these jobs needs a chart or a photo.

Our salon group has no medspa. What is left?

The Monday reports, without the Allē check. A salon group gets each location's Boulevard figures copied into its own sheet every week, and the workflows on this page cover salon no-shows and chair utilization.
