Automated Any.do Overdue Task Sweep

Every Friday, WebRun opens Any.do, collects every task whose due date has passed across your lists and shared projects, records each with its owner, list, and days overdue in a Google Sheet, and posts the longest-overdue items to Telegram so the team clears them before the week closes.

In short

How do I clear overdue tasks before they pile up?

WebRun sweeps your Any.do lists every Friday for tasks that passed their due date. It records each one with its owner, list, and days overdue in a Google Sheet, then posts a ranked clean-up list to Telegram grouped by person, so the backlog is cleared before the week ends.

  • Overdue work is named every Friday instead of quietly growing
  • Each person sees only their own slipped items
  • Tasks rescheduled again and again get flagged for a real decision

Built for small teams · operations managers · freelancers · project coordinators

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens any.do in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  4. 3
Telegram - post the clean-up list
    telegram.org
WebRun in Telegram: post the clean-up list

    • Post the clean-up list to your team chat, longest overdue first
    • Group the list by owner so each person sees their own items
    • Call out anything overdue by more than two weeks as a candidate to drop or reassign
    • Add the total count so the backlog size is obvious

Done when The team has this week's ranked overdue clean-up list in Telegram.

Questions, answered

Will it complete or delete my tasks?

No. WebRun reads Any.do and reports. It never ticks a task off, never deletes one, and never changes a due date, so the decision to drop or reschedule stays with the owner.

Does it reassign anything?

No. Owners are read from the task and reported as they are. WebRun suggests which items look droppable but makes no change in Any.do itself.

Will teammates be messaged individually?

No. The only post is one internal Telegram message to the team chat you choose, grouped by person. Nobody receives a private automated chase.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
