Automated Amazon Pay Payout Reconciliation

Every Monday, WebRun signs in to Amazon Pay, pulls last week's captures, refunds, and fees along with the settlement amounts that were paid out, matches each payout to its underlying transactions in a Google Sheet, and emails you a short list of anything that does not reconcile.

In short

How do I reconcile Amazon Pay payouts with my transactions?

WebRun signs in to Amazon Pay every Monday, pulls last week's captures, refunds, fees, and settlements, then matches each payout to its underlying transactions in a Google Sheet. It emails you and your bookkeeper a short exception list of anything that does not tie out, with amounts and dates.

  • Payouts are reconciled weekly rather than at month end
  • Unmatched transactions and fee differences are named with amounts
  • Your bookkeeper gets one sheet instead of raw exports

Good to know

Questions, answered

Can it refund a customer or move money?

No. WebRun reads Amazon Pay reports only. It never issues a refund, captures a payment, or changes a payout setting. Everything it produces is a sheet and an internal email for a human to act on.

Does it email customers about payments?

No. The only email goes to the finance addresses you nominate. WebRun never contacts a customer, and any customer-facing message is drafted and left for a person to approve and send.

What counts as an exception?

Any transaction with no matching payout, any payout whose net differs from the expected gross less fees and refunds, and any chargeback logged in the period. Each is listed with its amount and date.

Put this on autopilot.
