Automated Air Cargo Detention and Demurrage Tracking

Every morning, WebRun opens Awery, identifies shipments that have exceeded their free-time window at the warehouse or ramp, calculates the accruing detention and demurrage exposure, and posts an urgent summary to Slack so your operations team can prioritize clearance before charges escalate.

In short

How do I track air cargo detention and demurrage charges before they escalate?

WebRun checks Awery every morning for air cargo sitting past its contracted free-time limit, estimates the accruing detention and demurrage exposure per AWB, logs every overrun in Google Sheets, and posts a ranked Slack alert to the operations team so critical cases are acted on before charges compound.

  • Critical dwell-time overruns surface in Slack before charges exceed your escalation threshold
  • Google Sheets holds a full exposure log for dispute resolution and cost control
  • Cleared shipments are dropped from the alert automatically on the next run

Questions, answered

Will it automatically arrange clearance or dispatch a truck?

No. WebRun only surfaces the alert and logs the exposure. Your team decides which shipments to prioritize and arranges clearance directly.

How does it know the free-time limit for each shipment?

It reads the contracted free-time period stored against each AWB in Awery. If your tariffs vary by customer or commodity, make sure those are recorded in Awery first.

What if the shipment clears overnight?

It reads live Awery warehouse status each morning, so cleared shipments are excluded from the next alert automatically.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
