Automated Adobe Connect Attendance Records

Every evening, WebRun signs in to Adobe Connect, opens the attendance report for each session held that day, writes one Airtable row per attendee with their join time and minutes in the room, compares the list against who was registered, and posts the no-shows and partial attendances to Telegram.

In short

How do I record Adobe Connect attendance without exporting reports by hand?

WebRun signs in to Adobe Connect each evening, opens the attendance report for every session held that day, and writes one Airtable row per attendee with join time and minutes in the room. It then posts the no-shows and partial attendances to your training team's Telegram group.

  • Attendance is recorded the same evening, not weeks later at audit time
  • Partial attendance is measured in minutes rather than guessed
  • No-shows reach the trainer the night of the session

Built for training teams · compliance managers · universities and colleges · professional bodies

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens adobeconnect.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Adobe Connect - pull the attendance report
    • Sign in to Adobe Connect and open the meetings or events held today
    • Open the attendance report for each session
    • Capture each participant's name, join time, leave time and total minutes in the room
    • Capture the registration or invite list for the same session
    • Note the session name, host and scheduled length

Done when Every session held today has both its attendance report and its expected list captured.

  3. 2
    Airtable - record every attendee
    airtable.com
WebRun in Airtable: record every attendee
WebRun opens Airtable to record every attendee.
    • Open your training records base in Airtable
    • Add one row per attendee with the session name, date, join time and minutes attended
    • Mark anyone below your completion threshold, for example under 80 percent of the session, as partial
    • Link each row to the existing learner record rather than creating a duplicate person
    • Update the session row with the headcount and the average time in the room

Done when Every attendee has an Airtable row linked to the right learner and session.

  4. 3
Telegram - post the no-show list
    telegram.org
WebRun in Telegram: post the no-show list
WebRun opens Telegram to post the no-show list.
    • Compare the registration list with who actually joined
    • Post the no-shows and partial attendances to your training team Telegram group
    • Group them by session and show the minutes attended beside each partial
    • Leave any follow-up with the learner to a human. Nobody is contacted by this run

Done when The training team has tonight's no-show and partial list in Telegram.

Questions, answered

Does it email the people who missed a session?

No. The no-show list goes only to your internal Telegram group. WebRun never emails or messages a learner, so the follow-up note stays something a trainer writes and sends.

How does it decide someone only partly attended?

It compares minutes in the room against the scheduled session length and flags anyone below the threshold you set, commonly 80 percent. The exact minutes are stored in Airtable so the call can be reviewed.

Will it create duplicate learner records?

No. Each attendance row is linked to the existing learner record in your Airtable base by name and email, so a person who attends ten sessions still has one record with ten linked rows.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
