Automated Envoy Unhosted Visitor Alerts
Every few minutes during office hours, WebRun checks Envoy for visitors who have checked in but whose host has not acknowledged the sign in notification, posts an immediate Slack alert to the front desk, and escalates to the office manager in Microsoft Teams if the visitor is still waiting after 10 minutes.
How do I get alerted when a visitor is waiting with no host?
WebRun checks Envoy every few minutes for visitors who have checked in but whose host has not acknowledged them, and posts an immediate Slack alert to the front desk naming the visitor and the wait time. If nobody responds within 10 minutes, it escalates to the office manager in Microsoft Teams so no visitor is left waiting alone.
- No visitor sits in the lobby unnoticed for more than a few minutes
- Office managers only hear about the visitors who actually need help
- The front desk gets a live alert instead of checking Envoy manually

WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Does it contact the visitor directly?
No. WebRun only alerts your team in Slack and Microsoft Teams. It never messages, calls, or greets the visitor itself. A person from your team always makes contact.
How long does it wait before escalating?
Ten minutes from check in by default. If the host still has not acknowledged the visitor in Envoy by then, it messages the office manager in Microsoft Teams so the visitor is not left waiting indefinitely.
Will it keep alerting after the visitor is greeted?
No. It reads the live acknowledgment status in Envoy on every check, so once a host greets the visitor the alerts stop automatically.
Put this on autopilot.
Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
