Automated Wishpond Contest Entry Tracking
Every morning, WebRun opens Wishpond, checks new entrants on active contests and promotions, archives the current entry list to Google Drive, and sends a Twilio text to the promo owner once a contest is nearing its entry goal or its end date is close.
How do I track Wishpond contest entries as they come in?
WebRun checks Wishpond every morning for new contest and promotion entrants, archives the current entry list to Google Drive, and texts the promo owner through Twilio once a contest is nearing its entry goal or its end date is close. The team gets a running entry record and a timely nudge before the contest wraps up.
- The team has a running record of how each contest is growing
- A contest nearing its goal or deadline gets a timely text nudge
- No one has to check Wishpond daily just to track entry counts

Questions, answered
Does it contact contest entrants or pick a winner?
No. WebRun only tracks and archives the entrant count. Contacting entrants and selecting a winner are still done by the promo owner in Wishpond.
Will I get texted about every contest every day?
No. The Twilio text only goes out once a contest crosses 80 percent of its entry goal or its end date is within 48 hours. Most days produce only the archived list.
Why archive the entry list daily?
So there is a running record of how a contest grew over time, useful for planning the next one, not just a single final count.
