Automated WeChat Unanswered Chat Alerts

Through the working day, WebRun opens WeChat on the web, reads your conversation list, picks out every chat where the last message came from the contact and has sat unanswered past your threshold, and posts a short escalation list to Slack with a mirror to Telegram so whoever is on duty can pick it up.

In short

How do I make sure no WeChat message goes unanswered?

WebRun opens WeChat on the web through the day and finds every conversation where the contact sent the last message and no one has replied. It posts a waiting list to Slack and mirrors it to Telegram with contact, wait time, and opening line, so nothing sits unanswered.

  • Waiting customers surface within the hour, not the next day
  • The on-duty responder sees the queue without opening WeChat
  • Replies stay human: the run never messages a contact

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens web.wechat.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

    • Open WeChat on the web with your signed-in session and read the conversation list
    • Pick out chats where the most recent message came from the contact, not from you
    • Record how long each has been waiting and pull the first line of the message for context

Done when Every chat waiting longer than your threshold is listed with its wait time.

  3. 2
Slack - escalate to the team
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: escalate to the team
WebRun opens Slack to escalate to the team.
    • Post the waiting list to your customer channel, longest wait first
    • Show the contact name, the wait time, and the opening line so the team can triage without switching apps
    • Skip anything already posted on an earlier run unless it has crossed a longer threshold

Done when Slack shows the current unanswered queue without repeats.

  4. 3
Telegram - mirror to whoever is on duty
    telegram.org
WebRun in Telegram: mirror to whoever is on duty
WebRun opens Telegram to mirror to whoever is on duty.
    • Send the same list to the Telegram group the on-duty person watches
    • Lead with anything past the escalation threshold so it reads as urgent
    • Reply inside WeChat is left to a person: WebRun never sends a message to a contact

Done when The on-duty responder has the same queue in Telegram.

Questions, answered

Will it reply to contacts on WeChat?

No. WebRun reads the conversation list and reports what is waiting. Every reply is typed by a person inside WeChat, so no customer ever receives an automated message from this run.

How does it decide a chat is unanswered?

It checks who sent the most recent message. If the last message came from the contact and has been sitting longer than the threshold you set, the chat joins the list. Once you reply, it drops off the next run.

Will the same chat be posted over and over?

No. Each conversation is posted once, and only reappears if it crosses a longer escalation threshold, so the Slack channel stays readable rather than turning into a repeating alarm.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
