Catch a campaign whose bounces are climbing

Every morning, WebRun opens WebEngage, reads the delivery reports for every campaign that sent yesterday, compares bounce and unsubscribe rates against your thresholds and last week's baseline, texts you through Twilio about anything over the line, and files the full numbers into Google Drive.

In short

How do I catch a campaign whose bounce rate is climbing?

WebRun reads your WebEngage delivery reports every morning for campaigns that sent in the last 24 hours, working out bounce and unsubscribe rates per channel. When a rate crosses your threshold or jumps against its baseline, it texts you through Twilio and files the full numbers into Google Drive.

  • A damaging campaign gets paused before the next send window
  • Bounce and unsubscribe rates checked daily, not at month end
  • A dated delivery history in Drive you can trend across weeks

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens dashboard.webengage.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
    WebEngage - read delivery reports

    • Open WebEngage and list the campaigns that sent in the last 24 hours, with their channels
    • Read each campaign's delivery report: sent, delivered, bounced, and unsubscribed
    • Work out bounce and unsubscribe rates and compare them against your thresholds
    • Compare each rate against the same campaign's trailing average so a jump is visible, not just a level

Done when Every campaign that sent yesterday has its delivery rates measured against your thresholds.

Twilio - text you about a spike

    • Send a short SMS to your own number when a campaign crosses a threshold
    • Name the campaign, the channel, the rate, and how far above the baseline it sits
    • Text only your team's numbers. WebRun never pauses or edits the campaign itself

Done when You have been texted about every campaign over the line.

  4. 3
Google Drive - file the numbers
drive.google.com How to Automate Google Drive
WebRun in Google Drive: file the numbers
WebRun opens Google Drive to file the numbers.
    • Save a dated delivery health file to your marketing folder
    • Record every campaign with sent, delivered, bounced, unsubscribed, and both rates
    • Keep past files so the trend across weeks stays readable

Done when Yesterday's delivery numbers are filed in Drive alongside the history.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it pause a campaign on its own?

No. WebRun only reads the delivery reports and reports the numbers. Pausing, editing, or resending a campaign stays with your marketing team, because stopping a live send is not a decision to automate.

What counts as a spike?

Any bounce or unsubscribe rate over the threshold you set, or a jump against that campaign's own trailing average. Both tests run, so a quietly rising rate is caught before it hits your hard limit.

Does it text me every single morning?

Only when a campaign crosses the line. Quiet mornings stay quiet, and the full numbers are still filed to Google Drive whether or not anything was flagged.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
