Automated UptimeRobot Daily Outage Digest

Every morning, WebRun opens UptimeRobot, reviews every monitor for outages in the last 24 hours, logs each one to Airtable with its downtime duration and affected monitor, and emails the team a summary so nothing slips by between checks.

In short

How do I get a daily summary of UptimeRobot outages?

WebRun reviews every UptimeRobot monitor each morning for outages in the last 24 hours, logs each one to Airtable with its duration and recovery status, and emails an internal summary sorted by longest downtime first. The result is a running outage history and a daily digest without anyone checking the dashboard by hand.

  • Every outage gets logged automatically instead of relying on a memory of alerts
  • The team gets one daily rollup instead of a stream of individual alerts
  • Downtime duration is tracked in one place for later review

    gmail.com
WebRun in Gmail: email the outage digest
WebRun opens Gmail to email the outage digest.
    • Draft and send a daily summary email to the engineering distribution list
    • List each monitor that had downtime, how long it lasted, and whether it has recovered
    • Sort by longest downtime first

Done when The team has this morning's outage summary in their inbox.

  4. 3
Airtable - email the outage digest
    airtable.com
WebRun in Airtable: log each outage

Questions, answered

Does this replace UptimeRobot's own alerts?

No. WebRun runs alongside your existing UptimeRobot alert contacts. It adds a logged history in Airtable and a daily rollup email, it does not change your monitor or alert settings.

Will it email customers about downtime?

No. The summary email goes only to your internal engineering distribution list. WebRun never contacts your customers about an outage.

What if an outage is still ongoing?

It is logged with its status marked unresolved, and the next day's digest will show the updated duration once UptimeRobot records a recovery.
