Automated Upstox Trade Log and Summary
Every Monday, WebRun opens Upstox, reads every trade executed the past week across equity, F&O, and mutual funds, logs each to an Airtable trade base, and emails you a summary of turnover and current holdings.
How do I automatically keep a record of my Upstox trades?
WebRun opens Upstox every Monday, reads the past week's trades across equity, F&O, and mutual funds, and logs each one to an Airtable base with symbol, quantity, price, and date. It then emails you a summary of turnover and current holdings, so your trading record stays complete without copying statements by hand.
- Every trade is logged the same week it happens, not reconstructed later from statements
- Tax season starts with a complete, searchable trade log instead of a pile of statements
- A weekly email keeps holdings value and turnover visible without opening the app

Questions, answered
Does WebRun place any orders on Upstox?
No. WebRun only reads your existing holdings and trade history. It never places, cancels, or modifies an order, and it never moves money in or out of your Upstox account.
Why keep a separate trade log outside Upstox?
Upstox shows your order book, but a running Airtable log outside the app is easier to search, tag, and hand to an accountant at tax time without exporting statements by hand.
What if I make trades outside the weekly schedule?
They are picked up the next Monday, since WebRun reads the full week trade history each run rather than only the newest trade.
