Automated Telegram Enquiry Capture
Every hour, WebRun opens Telegram, reads the new messages in the chats and groups you nominate, picks out the genuine enquiries, logs each with the sender and the ask in Google Sheets, and leaves a matching reply sitting in Gmail as an unsent draft.
How do I capture and answer enquiries that arrive on Telegram?
WebRun reads the Telegram chats and groups you nominate every hour and picks out genuine enquiries. It logs each one in Google Sheets with the sender, the ask, and any contact details, then writes a matching reply into Gmail as an unsent draft, so you approve and send in seconds.
- No enquiry gets buried under group chatter
- A reply is ready to approve within the hour
- Every enquiry lands in one sheet with sender, ask, and status
Built for small business owners · customer support teams · community managers · service businesses
What does WebRun do on every run?
The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

WebRun signs in and gets to work
Opens
web.telegram.orgin a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys. -
1
Telegram - read new enquiries
WebRun opens Telegram to read new enquiries. - Open Telegram Web and go to the chats and groups you nominated
- Read messages received since the last run
- Keep the ones that are genuine enquiries: a question, a request for a quote, or a booking ask
- Capture the sender's name and handle, the time, and the ask in one line, plus any email address given
Done when Every new enquiry is captured with its sender, time, and ask.
-
2
Google Sheets - log every enquiry
WebRun opens Google Sheets to log every enquiry. - Open the enquiry log in Google Sheets
- Add one row per enquiry with date, chat, sender handle, the ask, and any contact details given
- Set the status to New and leave the owner column blank for a human to claim
- Skip messages from a sender already logged today unless the ask is different
Done when Every new enquiry has one row in the log with status New.
-
3
Gmail - leave a reply in drafts
WebRun opens Gmail to leave a reply in drafts. - Open Gmail and create a draft reply for each enquiry that supplied an email address
- Answer the actual question in a short, on-brand paragraph and add your usual next step
- Leave every message as an unsent draft. Never send, and never reply inside the Telegram chat
- Add the enquiry row reference to the draft subject so the log and the draft stay matched
Done when Each contactable enquiry has an unsent Gmail draft waiting for approval.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it reply to people on its own?
No. Every reply is left as an unsent Gmail draft for you to read, edit, and send. WebRun never sends an email and never posts a message back into a Telegram chat, so no enquirer hears from it directly.
Which chats does it read?
Only the chats and groups you nominate. Personal conversations and any group left off the list are never opened, and nothing from them is logged or summarised.
What if someone gives no email address?
The enquiry is still logged in Sheets with the Telegram handle, marked as needing a reply in-app. No draft is created, because there is nowhere to send it, so a human answers in the chat instead.
