Automated Tastytrade Weekly Options Scorecard

Every Friday after the close, WebRun opens tastytrade, reads every options position closed in the past week, calculates realized profit and loss and the buying power that was tied up, logs each trade to Airtable, and writes a short scorecard page in Notion summarizing the week's overall result.

In short

How do I get a weekly scorecard of my tastytrade options performance?

WebRun reviews every tastytrade options position you closed in the past week, calculating realized profit and loss and the buying power tied up, and logs each trade to Airtable. It then writes a short scorecard in Notion summarizing the week, giving you an honest, hands-off read on options trading performance every Friday afternoon.

  • You see real P&L and buying power efficiency every Friday, not just a gut feeling
  • Every closed options trade is logged automatically, so the journal never falls behind
  • Open positions are never counted, so the scorecard reflects only finished trades

Questions, answered

Does WebRun open, close, or roll options positions on tastytrade?

No. WebRun only reads positions you already closed and reports on them. It never opens, closes, rolls, or modifies a trade, and it never moves funds in or out of your tastytrade account.

Does the scorecard track buying power efficiency?

Yes. Buying power used per position is logged alongside P&L, so you can see not just what you made but how efficiently capital was used to make it.

What if a position was assigned instead of closed normally?

It is logged as it actually happened. Assignment is read from tastytrade the same way a regular close is, so the scorecard reflects the real outcome either way.
