How do I automatically draft dunning emails for failed subscription box renewals?
Every morning, WebRun opens Subbly to find every subscriber whose renewal payment failed in the past 24 hours, then drafts a personalised recovery email in Gmail for each one and posts the total count to Slack. No email is sent without your team's approval, and no charge is retried. Your team reviews and sends from the Gmail drafts.
- Every failed renewal gets a personalised recovery draft the same morning it fails
- Team sees the failed count in Slack without opening Subbly
- No customer is emailed without your team's explicit review

Questions, answered
Will it email subscribers with failed payments automatically?
No. Every recovery email is saved as a Gmail draft and never sent without your approval. Your team reviews each draft before any subscriber is contacted.
Does it retry the failed charge automatically?
No. WebRun does not initiate any charge or retry. Payment retries must be actioned manually in Subbly or Stripe after your team reviews the situation.
What if a subscriber updates their payment method before the draft is sent?
If the subscriber's account is no longer past due when you go to send the draft, simply discard it. WebRun only captures the failed-payment status at the time of the morning run.
