Automated Subscription Rate Change Notice Drafts

When you trigger a pricing update run, WebRun opens Chargebee to identify all subscriptions affected by the price change, drafts a personalized notice in Gmail for each customer, and for enterprise contracts it creates a DocuSign amendment envelope awaiting your countersignature before the notice goes out.

In short

How do I automatically draft rate-change notices for all affected subscription customers?

When you trigger a pricing update, WebRun identifies all affected Chargebee subscribers, drafts a personalized rate-change notice in Gmail for each self-serve customer, and creates a pre-filled DocuSign amendment envelope for enterprise contracts. No notice or amendment is sent without your team's explicit review and approval.

  • Every affected subscriber gets a personalized rate-change notice in a controlled rollout
  • Enterprise contracts get a formal DocuSign amendment before any change is communicated
  • No notice or amendment reaches a customer without team review

Questions, answered

Will it send price change notices to customers automatically?

No. Every rate-change notice is saved as a Gmail draft and every enterprise amendment is held in DocuSign awaiting countersignature. Nothing reaches the customer until your team approves and sends.

How does it handle enterprise customers with custom contracts?

Enterprise subscribers are separated from self-serve accounts and handled via DocuSign amendment envelopes that must be countersigned by an authorized team member before being sent.

What if the price change only applies to a specific plan tier?

You specify the plan or price point when you trigger the run. WebRun then filters Chargebee to only that plan, so subscribers on unaffected plans are never included.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
