Automated RV Service Daily Dispatch Digest
Every morning, WebRun opens IDS Astra and reads all service appointments and work orders scheduled for today, cross-checks technician availability in Google Calendar, groups jobs by technician, and posts a structured dispatch-ready sheet to the Slack service channel so the service manager can confirm assignments before the first customer arrives.
How do I get an automatic daily dispatch sheet for my RV service department?
WebRun opens IDS Astra every morning, pulls all service appointments and work orders scheduled for today, cross-checks technician availability in Google Calendar, and posts a grouped dispatch sheet to Slack. Unassigned jobs and conflicts with unavailable techs are flagged so the service manager can act before the first customer arrives.
- Service managers start every day with a dispatch-ready job sheet before 7:30 AM
- Unassigned jobs and technician conflicts are surfaced automatically, not discovered mid-morning
- Total team capacity is visible at a glance without opening IDS Astra

Questions, answered
Will it reassign jobs to a different technician automatically?
No. WebRun flags jobs assigned to an unavailable technician but leaves all reassignment decisions to the service manager. It never changes an assignment in IDS Astra on its own.
What if new jobs are booked in after the morning digest runs?
The digest reflects the schedule as of 7:00 AM. For jobs booked after that, the service manager updates assignments directly in IDS Astra. You can also run a manual refresh if needed.
Does it contact customers about their appointment time?
No. The dispatch digest is an internal Slack report for the service team only. WebRun never contacts customers through this workflow.
