Automated Quicken Weekly Budget Scorecard

Every Sunday, WebRun opens Quicken, pulls the week's spending by category against budget, upcoming bill reminders, and any rental income received, logs the numbers to Airtable, and adds a Notion summary page so the week's finances are easy to review at a glance.

In short

How do I get a weekly scorecard of my Quicken budget?

WebRun reads your Quicken spending by category against budget, upcoming bills, and any rental income received every Sunday, logging the numbers to Airtable and posting a Notion summary page. Over budget categories get highlighted so the week's finances are reviewable at a glance, without reopening Quicken.

  • Over budget categories get flagged the same week instead of at month end
  • Upcoming bills are visible in Notion without a separate reminder system
  • The week's numbers take one Sunday review instead of a Quicken deep dive

Questions, answered

Does it pay bills automatically?

No. WebRun only reads upcoming bill reminders and reports them. Scheduling or paying a bill stays a decision inside Quicken.

Does it work for rental property owners?

Yes. It reads whatever income and expense categories you track in Quicken, including rental income, and reports them in the scorecard.

What happens if a category goes over budget?

It gets highlighted in the Notion summary page, so an over budget category is visible the same week, not at month end.
