In short

How do I clear uncategorized transactions in QuickBooks each week?

WebRun opens QuickBooks every Monday, collects every transaction still sitting uncategorized or in For Review, and writes each one into a Google Sheet with a category suggested from your own coding history. It then emails you the items that need a human decision, so month end never starts with a backlog.

  • The For Review pile is visible every Monday, not at month end
  • Repeat payees arrive pre-suggested from your own history
  • Your ledger is never changed without you approving it

Questions, answered

Will it categorize transactions in QuickBooks for me?

No. WebRun reads QuickBooks and writes its suggestions into a Google Sheet only. Nothing is accepted, matched, or posted to your books until you do it yourself, so your ledger never moves without a human.

Where do the suggested categories come from?

From your own coding history. WebRun looks at how the same payee was categorized before and copies that as a suggestion. Payees it has never seen are marked blank so you decide.

What if the same transaction is still open next week?

It carries forward and is flagged with its age, so long-stale items rise to the top of the email rather than quietly repeating in the sheet.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
