Automated TouchBistro Staff Punctuality Report

Every Monday, WebRun opens TouchBistro, reads the prior week's clock-in and clock-out records for all staff, compares each shift to the scheduled start time, and logs a punctuality summary to Google Sheets showing who was late, how often, and by how many minutes.

In short

How do I automatically track staff punctuality using TouchBistro clock-in data?

WebRun reads TouchBistro clock-in records every Monday, compares each shift start to the scheduled time, and appends a weekly punctuality summary to Google Sheets showing late arrivals per staff member with counts and minutes. Managers open one sheet to identify patterns and have coaching conversations backed by objective data.

  • Late-arrival patterns are visible weekly without manual report review
  • Managers have objective data for coaching conversations
  • Historical sheet tracks punctuality trends across the whole team

Built for QSR managers · restaurant HR teams · multi-unit operators · franchise area managers

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it send warnings or notifications directly to staff?

No. The report goes to your internal Google Sheet for a manager to review. Any staff communication, such as a coaching conversation or written warning, is handled by the manager after reviewing the data.

What counts as late?

By default, any clock-in more than 5 minutes after the scheduled shift start is flagged. You can adjust this grace period during setup to match your HR policy.

Does it require a separate scheduling tool?

It reads the scheduled start times from the staff schedule configured in TouchBistro. If your schedule lives in a separate tool, you can input the expected start time during WebRun setup as a reference table.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
