Will WebRun send a purchase order to a supplier on its own?
No. WebRun only drafts the purchase order in QuickBooks and leaves it unsent. A buyer reviews the colors, quantities, and price, then approves and sends it. Nothing is ordered and no supplier is contacted without a person signing off first.
How does it decide how much to reorder?
It compares each color's on-hand quantity in OnRamp to the reorder point and par level you set, and accounts for powder already committed to open work orders. The suggested quantity brings the color back to par, and you can adjust it before approving.
What if we already have a reorder in progress?
You can have WebRun skip colors that already sit on an open purchase order so it does not double-order. It reads the live stock and open orders each morning, so colors that were just received drop off the low list automatically.
