Automated PoultryPlan Feed Mill Reorder Alerts

Every morning, WebRun checks feed bin levels against expected consumption in PoultryPlan, posts a reorder recommendation to Slack for your approval, and logs the confirmed order into QuickBooks.

In short

How do I get warned before a feed bin runs dry?

Every morning, WebRun compares current feed bin levels in PoultryPlan against each flock's expected daily consumption and projects the days of feed remaining per bin. It posts any bin projected to run out within 3 days to your Slack feed ordering channel for approval, then logs the confirmed order in QuickBooks against the right house once your team signs off.

  • A low bin is flagged 3 days before it runs dry, not the morning it is empty
  • Every reorder still needs a human confirmation before it is logged
  • QuickBooks has a clean order record tied to the right house automatically

Questions, answered

Will it order feed from the mill without approval?

No. WebRun only posts the reorder recommendation to Slack. A team member has to confirm it before any order is logged, and it never contacts the mill directly.

How far ahead does it warn about a low bin?

It projects days of feed remaining from current bin levels and expected consumption, and flags any bin projected to run out within 3 days.

What gets recorded in QuickBooks?

Only orders your team confirmed in Slack. Each entry has the feed type, quantity, and the house it is billed to, left pending until the mill confirms delivery.
