Printful Automated Design Mockup Approval Routing
Every morning, WebRun opens Printful and identifies products with newly generated mockups awaiting sign-off, logs them to a Google Sheet with mockup links and the assigned approver, then sends each approver a DocuSign approval request so mockups are reviewed and cleared for launch without any manual chasing.
How do I automatically route print-on-demand design mockups for approval?
WebRun checks Printful every morning for products with newly generated mockups, logs each to a Google Sheets tracking table, and sends the assigned approver a DocuSign approval request with the mockup image and product details. Every approval or rejection requires a human action; nothing advances to launch without a signed sign-off.
- Mockups are routed to the right approver the same morning they are generated
- No launch is blocked because an approval request was forgotten or unsent
- A Google Sheets log shows every mockup's approval status at a glance

How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it approve mockups automatically?
No. Every mockup approval requires a human to review and sign the DocuSign envelope. WebRun only routes the request and tracks the outcome; it never approves anything on its own.
What happens if an approver does not respond within 48 hours?
DocuSign sends an automatic reminder at 48 hours. The mockup remains in pending status in the Google Sheet until the approver responds, so you can see what is still outstanding at a glance.
Can different products have different approvers?
Yes. You configure the approver per product category or brand in the Google Sheet at setup. WebRun reads the assigned approver for each product and routes the DocuSign request accordingly.
