Automated Experian Health Self-Pay Conversion Alerts

Every morning, WebRun opens Experian Health, screens self-pay accounts against your financial assistance and propensity-to-pay criteria, alerts your financial counselors in Slack ranked by balance and likelihood to qualify, and prepares a payment plan or financial assistance application in DocuSign, leaving it unsent so a counselor reviews it with the patient first.

In short

How do I flag self-pay patients likely to qualify for financial assistance?

WebRun screens self-pay accounts in Experian Health every morning against your financial assistance and propensity-to-pay criteria, ranking them by balance and likelihood to qualify. It alerts your financial counselors in Slack and prepares a payment plan or assistance application in DocuSign, left unsent, so a counselor reviews it with the patient before anything goes out.

  • Financial counselors get a ranked list instead of screening every self-pay account by hand
  • Payment plan and assistance applications are ready to review, not built from scratch
  • Larger balances likely to qualify are surfaced first, not buried in the queue

Questions, answered

Will it send the financial assistance application to the patient?

No. WebRun only prepares the application in DocuSign. A financial counselor reviews it, and usually discusses it with the patient directly, before anything is sent.

How does it decide who is likely to qualify?

It reads the propensity-to-pay and financial assistance criteria already configured in Experian Health, then ranks accounts by balance and that score. WebRun does not set the qualification criteria itself.

Does this affect collections activity on the account?

No. It only surfaces a conversion opportunity for your counselors. Any change to collections status is a decision your team makes separately.
