Automated Naver Cafe Mention Monitoring

Every morning, WebRun signs in to Naver Cafe, opens the cafes and boards you follow, finds posts and comments from the last day that mention your brand or your keywords, saves the text and links into a dated Google Drive archive, and posts a Slack digest that separates questions waiting on a reply from general chatter.

In short

How do I monitor Naver Cafe posts about my brand?

WebRun signs in to Naver Cafe every morning, checks the cafes and boards you follow for posts and comments mentioning your brand or keywords, and archives each one with its link in Google Drive. It then posts a Slack digest that puts questions waiting on a reply above general chatter.

  • Community questions reach a named owner the same morning
  • Every mention is archived with a link you can search later
  • Nothing is posted to the cafe without a person writing it

Questions, answered

Will it post or comment in the cafe?

No. WebRun reads the boards you nominate and never writes a post, a comment, or a reply. Community questions are listed in the internal Slack digest with a named owner, and a person answers them in their own words.

Which cafes and boards does it check?

Only the cafes and boards you nominate, using the brand and keyword list you give it. Everything else on Naver is ignored, so the digest stays about your community rather than the whole platform.

What if the same post keeps appearing?

It will not. WebRun archives each post by its link and reports only posts and comments new since the previous run, so a busy thread is raised once and then tracked by its comment count.
