Track blanket PO balances before they run out or expire unused
Every Monday, WebRun opens DDI Inform, checks every active blanket purchase order's remaining balance and expiration date, flags any running low on quantity or dollar value and any nearing expiration with balance still unreleased, logs the status to a tracking sheet, and alerts sales in Slack so a new blanket agreement gets started before the old one lapses.

How do I automatically track blanket PO balances before they run out?
WebRun checks every active blanket purchase order in DDI Inform each Monday, flags any running under 10 percent of its original balance or within 30 days of expiring with balance still unreleased, and logs the status to a Smartsheet tracking sheet. It then alerts sales in Slack with the account rep tagged, so a blanket agreement gets renewed before it runs out or expires with money left on the table.
- Blanket POs running low on balance get flagged before an order gets rejected for insufficient balance
- Agreements near expiration with unused balance get caught before that value is lost
- Sales gets a tagged action list instead of having to audit every blanket PO by hand

Questions, answered
Does it release against the blanket PO itself?
No. WebRun only tracks the remaining balance and flags it. A release against a blanket PO still has to be entered and approved by your order desk.
Why flag a blanket PO nearing expiration if it still has balance?
So sales can prompt the customer to release the remaining quantity, or start renewing the agreement, before that unreleased balance expires unused.
How low does the balance have to be to get flagged?
Under 10 percent of the original agreement's quantity or dollar value, so sales has enough runway to line up a new blanket agreement before the old one runs dry.
