Automated Emergency Order Staging Alerts

Every 5 minutes during business hours, WebRun opens DDI Inform, checks for newly flagged emergency or will call orders, confirms stock is allocated, texts the warehouse through Twilio to pull and stage the parts immediately, and drafts a customer confirmation email in Gmail with the items and pickup or delivery time for the CSR to review before sending.

In short

How do I automatically get emergency orders staged and confirmed fast?

WebRun checks DDI Inform every 5 minutes for new emergency or will call orders, confirms stock is allocated, and texts the warehouse through Twilio to pull and stage the parts immediately. It drafts a customer confirmation email in Gmail with the price and timing for a CSR to review and send, so urgent orders move fast internally while the customer still hears from a person.

  • Emergency orders get a warehouse pull text within 5 minutes of being flagged
  • A customer confirmation draft is ready before the CSR even opens the order
  • Orders not staged within 15 minutes get a second alert instead of sitting missed

Questions, answered

Will it confirm the order to the customer without a person reviewing it?

No. The confirmation email is drafted and left unsent in Gmail. A CSR still reviews the price and timing and sends it themselves.

Does it text the customer directly?

No. The text through Twilio only goes to the internal warehouse pull line to get the parts staged fast. The customer only ever hears from your CSR.

What happens if the warehouse does not stage the order in time?

It checks again and sends a second text if the order still is not marked staged within 15 minutes, so a busy floor does not lose track of an emergency pull.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
