Automated Mixpanel Tracking Plan Audit
Every Monday, WebRun opens Mixpanel, reviews the event list and its properties, flags near-duplicate names, events with no description, and events whose volume dropped to nothing after a release, then posts the cleanup list to Microsoft Teams and pings you in Telegram.
How do I audit my Mixpanel tracking plan for duplicate and dead events?
WebRun audits your Mixpanel instrumentation every Monday. It reviews the event list and properties, flags near-duplicate names, events with no description, and events whose volume fell to nothing after a release, then posts the ranked cleanup list to Microsoft Teams and pings you in Telegram before anyone quotes a dead number.
- Broken instrumentation surfaces within a week of the release
- Nobody builds a board on an event that stopped firing
- Duplicate event names get resolved before they split a metric

Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it delete or merge events on its own?
No. WebRun only reads your event list and reports what looks wrong. Hiding, merging, or renaming an event stays a human decision made by whoever owns the tracking plan.
How does it decide an event stopped arriving?
It compares the last seven days of volume against the previous seven days. An event that was firing steadily and dropped to zero or near zero is flagged with the week it fell.
What counts as a duplicate?
Events whose names differ only by case, spacing, tense, or a prefix, such as a signup event tracked twice under two spellings. Each pair is listed with both volumes so you can pick the survivor.
